A Few Words About Us
Hey there, I am Nicole Gilbert owner of Linette’s Gourmet Cookies and Cupcakes. Like all great recipes, it all started with a recipe passed to me from my mother. My mother was a great nurse and even better baker. Growing up she would make many things from scratch. Every year at her job she would participate in a dessert exchange with her coworkers. One day she decided to come up with her very own cookie that was loved by everyone who tasted it. This cookie would soon be known as a butterball from the way it melted in everyone’s mouth.
Inheriting my mother's great recipes and passion for baking is the reason I started Linette's Gourmet Cookies and Cupcakes. I was born and raised in a small town called Aliquippa, Pennsylvania which is where I discovered my passion for baking. I have raised four wonderful kids who did not hold back on feedback to their mom’s cooking. I know that I can always count on my friends and family’s feedback to tweak my recipes. My joy is seeing my family happy from the experience of my brand always brings me joy especially when I can do that for others. It’s all about family and experience, and my mother’s butterball cookie was the beginning step to creating all of our homemade recipes. We created recipes for cookies and cupcakes such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, brownie cookie, lemon drops, double chocolate chip, Cookies & Cream, and oatmeal raisin just to name a few. I love being able to be creative, serve others, and create someone’s day by doing what I love! I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of that moment for others and be a procuring cause to a happy transaction!
